Plant Sterols

A strong marker-improvement record for the most obvious cholesterol intervention in my stack. The useful signal is what happened to ApoB, LDL-C, and total cholesterol after the red/yellow lipid panel. Personal marker history with overlapping interventions, not proof of isolated causality or an instruction to copy.

Experiment window: August 25, 2025 to Jan 16, 2026. Did plant sterols, as part of the cholesterol stack, earn a permanent place after the August 25, 2025 lipid panel?

Bloodwork Story

Why this date matters

The August 25, 2025 bloodwork is the decision anchor. It showed ApoB at 87 yellow, LDL-C at 113 red, and total cholesterol at 216 red. That lipid panel is the reason this plant sterol entry belongs in the experiment record.

What changed

By January 16, 2026, ApoB was 66 green, LDL-C was 77 green, and total cholesterol was 151 green. I cannot isolate plant sterols from the rest of the lipid stack, but this is the item that most directly maps to the cholesterol problem.

How I read it

This is a marker-success story, not proof of solo causality. Plant sterols sit inside a larger pattern that also includes omega-3, green tea extract, artichoke extract, training, diet, and body-composition changes. The reason it stays in the stack is that the follow-up panel moved the exact markers it was meant to move.

Primary markers

The primary markers are ApoB, LDL-C, and total cholesterol. The decision is mostly about whether the atherogenic-marker pattern stays improved.

Decision rule

Plant sterols keep their place if repeat panels continue to show a favorable ApoB and LDL-C pattern without creating an obvious tolerance problem or crowding out higher-value basics.
