Telling people what to do rarely works.

Even when advice comes from a good place, it lands in a place you do not control. The person hearing it decides what it means, whether it fits, and whether it becomes action.

A better way to influence?

Be the example

Do the work. Carry the weight. Stay consistent. Let people see the results.

Then, when they ask, share what you learned.

Advice is easy because the burden sits on someone else’s shoulders. Example is harder because the burden sits on yours. That is also why it is more powerful.

Do not try to force change. Live in a way that makes change look worth pursuing.
